Compatibility

BMW Compatibility

The WunderLINQ Navigator is designed for BMW motorcycles equipped with:

BMW Multi-Function Controller / Wonder Wheel
On-Board Computer Pro option
BMW Navigation Prep option
Official BMW Navigation Prep cradle

WunderLINQ states that, in general, BMW motorcycles equipped to use BMW Navigator V or VI GPS units are the intended fitment group. They also note that only the official BMW Navigation Prep cradle is supported.

Compatible BMW Model Families

Common compatible model families include:

BMW R1200GS / R1250GS / R1300GS
BMW R1200RS / R1200R / R1250RS / R1250R
BMW F750 / F850 / F900 models
BMW S1000XR
BMW S1000R / S1000RR TFT models
BMW R1200RT / R1250RT / K1600 models

Compatibility and available functions vary by year, model, TFT/non-TFT dash, and BMW option package. WunderLINQ’s documentation lists model/year notes and states that motorcycles with TFT displays may need to switch wheel focus into Nav mode for wheel presses to pass through to the cradle.

Important Compatibility Notes

Requires BMW Navigation Prep.

Requires the official BMW Navigation Prep cradle.
Motorcycle data and fault decoding require On-Board Computer Pro.
Some models may support full data but limited or no wheel control depending on year and BMW HMI behavior.
2026 BMW motorcycles with the newer Connected Ride Mount may require WunderLINQ firmware 2.4 for compatibility.

The BMW WunderLINQ Navigator is plug-and-play hardware that snaps into your BMW motorcycle’s factory Navigation Prep cradle and connects to a compatible phone or tablet through the WunderLINQ app.

For BMW riders, WunderLINQ bridges the gap between factory handlebar controls and modern navigation devices. It allows your BMW Multi-Function Controller, also known as the Wonder Wheel, to interact with compatible Android or iOS phones and tablets, giving riders a cleaner way to control navigation, music, device functions, and motorcycle data without relying on the factory BMW Navigator V or VI.

When paired with the ATP Rugged tablet as part of an ATP BMW WunderLINQ Kit, it helps create a handlebar-controlled off-road navigation setup built around a bright, rugged Android display and the apps riders already use.

Standalone WunderLINQ hardware only. ATP Rugged tablet, tablet holder, mounting plate, power supply, and full BMW kit components are sold separately unless included in a selected bundle.

When the motorcycle is properly equipped, WunderLINQ can display near real-time motorcycle performance data, fault data, trip data, and other supported information. WunderLINQ notes that motorcycle data and fault decoding require the On-Board Computer Pro option.

USB-A Power Port

Includes a 10W USB-A power port for powering compatible devices or accessories.

AMPS-Compatible Mounting Surface

Provides a surface for AMPS-compatible mounts and includes M4-0.7 threaded inserts.
